Deck Restoration in Chapel Hill, NC

Deck restoration chapel hill

Deck restoration in Chapel Hill with old stain & sealer that had to be removed to be cleaned and ready for new stain. We used a brush a little sodium hydroxide (not bleach) in a pump sprayer with the proper saftey gear. Next, using our rinse nozzles, with very low pressure if any with my pressure washer rinsed away the old grime. Some places we had to repeat the process to make sure all of it was removed. We didn't want to use high pressure on wood, as it does more damage to the fibers than good. After we use a wood toner and brightener to bring back the woods natural color and proper pH. We used oxalic acid and another pump sprayer for this process. This deck is ready for new stain and sealer. This job to clean took me 4.5 hours to complete. We charged $750 we were blessed with a nice tip!
